-
We receive more than 18,000 animals each year
-
We attempt to save and adopt as many animals as possible to private families, rescue groups and other shelters
-
At times, we shelter dogs, cats, chickens, goats, pigs, cows, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, birds, fish and more
-
Most animals are brought in by their owners or are picked up as strays
-
Many of the animals coming in are humanely euthanized either at the owner's request or because the animal is too old, ill or aggressive to be adopted
-
We assist emergency services such as Fire and Sheriff when animals are involved
-
Often times we impound and shelter animals from criminal activities and fires
-
We are members of the Humane Society of the United States
