Feral/Stray cat spay/neuter clinic information for customers:

  • Kittens should be at least four (4) months old. Cats should not have food the morning of the surgery, but water is okay.

  • Arrive at the Spay Clinic (6201 Florin-Perkins Road) on the appointment date between 7:15 and 8 am.

  • Feral /stray cats should be in humane cat traps, but carriers are acceptable.  No cardboard carriers allowed. Cover cat traps with towels/blankets to help keep the cat calm. If you bring a cat in a trap, you may bring a carrier for the cat to recover in, but please label them with your name and phone number.

  • Plan to pick your cats up between 4 and 5 pm. We may call you if they are ready sooner. Handouts will be provided with advice on feral cats.

Cats will receive a spay or neuter, ear tip, FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, flea prevention, and ear mite treatment, if needed. We will ear tip ALL feral cats. We do not offer Felv/FIV testing, but may test at the veterinarian's discretion.
