In addition to the low-cost spay/neuter program for pet owners with less than $35,000 annual household income, the County Animal Shelter’s now offers spay/neuter services without requiring a statement of income for pit bulls, pit bull mixes and domestic cats. Additionally, a separate program offers free sterilization of feral cats. These services are available in partnership with the Sacramento Area Animal Coalition (SAAC).
