Make a Difference!
We are always in need of volunteers* to help make the animals' stay as pleasant as possible and find them new homes. Committed volunteers are a valuable part of our operation and help better the lives of the animals.
There are many ways to get involved including walking the dogs, socializing cats and rabbits, helping with clerical projects, fundraising, fostering animals and helping with events. You'll join many like-minded people and make some new friends at the same time, both two and four-legged!
When you give animals the gift of your time and affection, you'll get back more than you give! Learn more about volunteering opportunities.
*Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accommodate those seeking to satisfy school or court-ordered community service credits.
How Do You Get Involved?
For people age 18 to senior, the first step is to attend a General Shelter Orientation. Learn how to attend. For Information: Contact Celeste Ingrid, Volunteer Coordinator 875-5848.
Please wear comfortable paw-friendly attired including closed-toe shoes and long pants. Tie back long hair, and avoid earrings and jewelry. |
