Success Story:  A Thank You Note from Theodore the Cat
I'm sending this card to thank you for my warm and loving home.  As I type, I'm laying across mom.  You see, whenever she sits down at the desk or computer I feel it is my obligation to join her.  I walk across the keyboard, play with pens and paper, as I keep mom company.  Read more about Theodore’s thank you note and other Success Stories.

Shelter Reunites Lost Dog with Local Boy
The Sacramento County Animal Shelter and its dedicated staff reunited Brycen of Carmichael and his dog Tuesday evening after their dog had gone missing three days earlier on New Year’s Eve. This was an extra special reunion as Brycen has been diagnosed with autism. His mother credits their fluffy little dog, Myleigh, with teaching her son to be more social and the responsibility of caring for a pet. See the touching video and read the full story
