The Consolidated Utilities Billing and Service (CUBS) Division provides billing, collection, and call-center services for the Departments that provide utilities (refuse, water, sewer and stormwater drainage). We have over 306,000 customers that receive any combination of these services.
We also maintain the Utility Customer Service Call Center. Our Center handles approximately 30,000 customer calls and 1,200 web inquiries per month regarding utility services and billing issues.
The Sacramento County Information Center is also located in this office. The Center handles approximately 7,000 calls and 480 web inquiries per month relating to safety and nuisance inquires concerning different County departments and divisions, including Code Enforcement and the Department of Animal Care and Regulation.
