Arden Arcade is a beautiful and vibrant community of nearly 100,000 people in the heart of Sacramento County.

The community’s land-use decisions are made by the Arden Arcade Community Planning Council, a nine-member body appointed by the County Board of Supervisors. One of four councils, the group meets monthly to vote on issues ranging from lot-splits to cell phone towers.

Council work is guided, in part, by the Arden Arcade Community Plan. Originally developed in 1980, the Community Plan has been updated via an extensive public involvement process.   For a copy of the Plan visit the Planning and Community Development website.
