The Carmichael/Old Foothill Farms Planning Commission (also referred to as Community Commission) serves as the decision-making body over local land-use issues previously decided by the Planning Commission, Zoning Administrator and the Subdivision Review Committee. The nine members are nominated by District 3 Supervisor Susan Peters, and the Commission is appointed at-large by the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors.
