Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency administers certain federal monies for the purpose of improving designated areas in each community. These areas are designated every 10 years with the U.S. Census.

These funds can be used for infrastructure improvement, roads, sewages systems, small businesses loans, economic development, extra police and code enforcement officers for the purposes of reducing crime.

Our Division has several CDBG funded officers working in these designated areas to enforce zoning, eliminate blight and reduce crime.
