Water Softeners: The Sacramento County Water Agency does not have a ban on water softeners. Any water hardness issues we have are isolated to specific areas and not considered to be a widespread concern. Some California counties have imposed a ban, but bans are up to the discretion of local jurisdictions.

Quality Report

Providing our customers with the highest quality drinking water is our top priority. Every year, we develop a Water Quality Report, known as the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), to inform and educate all our customers about the quality of their water. We routinely conducts tests for more than 100 different constituents to ensure its safety.
