Central Service Area Water Transmission Main And Florin Road Sewer Project
The Water Agency will be installing two large diameter pipelines in Florin Road between Knox Road and Elder Creek. (View project map) The water pipeline, called the Central Service Area Transmission Main, is necessary to allow the delivery of treated Sacramento River water from the Vineyard Surface Water Treatment Plant (currently under construction) to customers in the Central and South Service Areas. The sewer pipeline, called the Florin Road Sewer, is necessary to receive waste water discharges from the Vineyard plant's processes, various operations activites, and also typical sanitary waste from occupied office space.
