Water Solution Must Work For AllEarlier this month, the Legislature tried to hammer out a comprehensive plan to address the State’s complex and long-standing water issues.  Many diverse voices of protest said the solution must address the entire web of complicated issues. The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors held a public meeting on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the Jean Harvie Community Center in Walnut Grove to take public comment on issues involving the Bay-Delta Conservation Plan and the Delta Vision. The Delta Vision and Bay-Delta Conservation plans are initiated to develop a durable vision for sustainable management of the Delta.

On Oct 21, 2008, County staff presented synopsis of the Delta Vision Plan and the Bay-Delta Conservation Plan, and recommended eight County policies with respect to these plans, to the Sacramento County Board of Directors. The following are the Board Letter and Resolution Documents.
