Vineyard Surface Water Treatment Plant

The Sacramento County Water Agency is preparing to meet new water supply demands for decades to come with its first ever surface water treatment plant. Named after its historical region, the Vineyard Surface Water Treatment Plant will treat water from the Sacramento River that will be pumped from the Freeport intake facility, where it will be treated to the highest drinking water standards.
