Prerequisite: Outreach program Living in Water, Underwater Interactions, or Aquatic Invertebrates. The teacher must provide 5-8 adult volunteers who are willing to lead small groups throughout the field study.
This visit to an American River wetland brings to life those concepts introduced in the classroom. Students will explore different aquatic environments to examine and compare the organisms found in each.
