 Therapeutic Recreation Services (TRS) provides therapeutic recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities residing in Sacramento County. Our programs focus on abilities while encouraging people to attain their highest level of independent leisure functioning by increasing leisure skills, improving social skills, increasing independence and increasing their awareness of and involvement in community recreational activities.
TRS has been providing award-winning opportunities for children, teens and adults with various abilities to explore, learn, and have fun since 1975. TRS programs promote fun, friendship, independence and personal growth. In 2011, TRS served 6,437 participants through 142 programs. |

- January: Sacramento Kings take on the Washington Wizards; There will be dancing - a Happy New Year Dance mid-month; and Glow Bowling - wait till you try it in the dark!
- February: Super Bowl Party! Friends, pizza, and the BIG game; "Dare to Dream" with Disney on Ice!; Cupid Shuffle - a special dance near Valentine's Day; and to end the month - "Warm and Fuzzy" read the flyer for details.
