Sacramento County contracts with the California Electronic Asset Recovery (CEAR) for the recycling and disposal of electronic waste that is brought either to the Kiefer Landfill or NARS. Electronic waste drop-off is free at the County facilities.
You can also dispose of electronic waste without visiting County facilities by scheduling your once-a-year free neighborhood pick-up, or schedule an additional pick-up for a nominal fee of $25. What is e-waste?
