To assist eligible low-income customers, we offer a rate assistance program.

By law, we must charge all our customers the same rate for the same service.  However, eligible low-income customers may receive up to $60 per year in rebates through our Solid Waste Lifeline Rate Assistance Program. 

If you are a Sacramento County garbage customer and are currently receiving the Sacramento County Sewer Lifeline Rate Assistance through the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District, you will automatically be enrolled to receive our Solid Waste Lifeline Rate Assistance. You will receive up to $5 per month credit on your bill. Non-direct bill customers will receive an annual check for up to $60.  For more information, call 916-875-5555.
