On June 3, 2008, the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors approved a proposed rate increase for our curbside collection customers that became effective July 1, 2008.  To minimize impact to our customers, the increases will be phased in over a three year period.

Customers will continue to receive recycling and greenwaste service every other week and once per calendar year pick-up of bulky waste by appointment at no additional charge.

Approximately 25 cents per month of your monthly rate will continue to be used to remove illegally dumped waste from County roadsides. Approximately 30 cents per month will be used to operate the Household Hazardous Waste Drop -off Facility at the North Area Recovery Station and the anti-freeze, automotive batteries, used motor oil and latex paint drop-off at Kiefer Landfill.
