We offer a variety of programs free-of-charge to schools in the unincorporated area of Sacramento County. We encourage teachers, students and administrators to use these resources and adopt waste management and recycling as part of any environmental studies programs.

Curricula for School Teachers: (no charge) 1. K-6 curricula focuses on the 3 R concepts and composting and landfills. 2. Middle school lessons concentrate on history, science, social studies and math and how each relates to waste management. 3. K-12 curricula, entitled Closing the Loop, workshops and information on waste reduction for school districts are also available from the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery.
