We offer a variety of programs free-of-charge to schools in the unincorporated area of Sacramento County. We encourage teachers, students and administrators to use these resources and adopt waste management and recycling as part of any environmental studies programs.

Classroom Presentations: We are available to make presentations that focus on various waste reduction and recycling efforts. 

Curricula for School Teachers:  (no charge)
1. Elementary curricula focuses on the 3 R concepts and composting and landfills.
2. Middle school lessons concentrate on history, science, social studies and math and how each relates to waste management. 
3. K-12 curricula, entitled Closing the Loop, workshops and information on waste reduction for school districts are also available from the California Integrated Waste Management Board.  All curricula provide hands-on exercises and meet the State curriculum guidelines. Available curricula:
