Solid Waste Advisory Committee

The Sacramento Cities/County Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) is an advisory panel consisting of appointed representatives from each jurisdictions in Sacramento County. The SWAC is the State-mandated Local Task Force, which meets ten times yearly to assist in coordinating waste management and recycling efforts throughout the County. The SWAC and Local Task Force operate under an adopted set of Responsibilities and Organization.
The SWAC has formed a subcommittee to discuss regional cooperation issues. This subcommittee meets for one hour before each SWAC meeting at the same date and location.
